Architecture 2008

Architecture and Process
This course explored the process of observing, brainstorming and planning for an architectural proposal.

Using both two- and three-dimensional design, the students completed the course by making a proposal for MOMA’s PS1 courtyard. Beginning with an onsite visit to Pratt’s Library to discover the architectural textures, patterns, colors and shapes that comprise the building, the students made important discoveries. A site visit to PS1 followed, allowing the students to see this year’s winning design.
